OTAFIIRE’S DILAPIDATED HOUSE IN BUSHENYI TOWN: TOWN CLERK WRITES TO WARN HIM TO DEMOLISH IT

Bushenyi Ishaka municipal town clerk David Betega has written a strong worded letter to Minister Kahinda Otafire and other plot ownerswith unfinished houses to demolish them immediately.
The town clerk explains that these unfinished houses harbor thieves and other criminals who have been a security threat in the municipality.
Otafiire’s dilapidated house is opposite Kyeitembe road near Bushenyi central police station and it has been there for over 20 years.
The town clerk Betega noted that he did not write to Otafiire alone but all other residents with dilapidated houses and undeveloped plots within the municipality have been advised to take immediate action.
“Minister Otafiire is among the people I have written to demanding that they demolish unfinished houses that harbor thieves and criminals,” Betega revealed.
He emphasized that the town must look smart therefore residents must take caution to make it clean by developing idle plots and demolishing unfinished houses.
