PANIC IN BUNYANGABU AS STRANGE WILD ANIMAL KILLS GOATS

Residents of Kiyombya sub county Bunyangabu district are living in fear after unknown wild animals ravaged the area, killing 10 goats so far.

According to Paul Kaboona Rubongoya, the Nyakiisi zone LCI chairman in Kiyombya parish, people in his area have on several occasions reported a strange wild animal that attacks the animals.

He added that the strange animal has so far killed over ten goats from the residents.

Kaboona says that they have carried out operations to hunt for the wild animal but in vain.

Kaboona appeals to leaders, wildlife authorities to intervene. Among the affected residents are; Musana Samuel, Mugume, Nyabakonjo Tereza among others.

Robert Ssemu Masa the area LCIII Chairman says they are organizing another joint operation to hunt for the wild animals.
