PATIENCE TUMWEBAZE OPTS TO CONTEST FOR KAZO WOMAN MP SEAT AS INDEPENDENT AFTER CONFUSION IN NRM

The aspiring woman Member of Parliament for Kazo district Patience Tumwebaze Karingi has withdrawn from NRM primaries and decided to contest as independent following confusion created by the 8 contestants.
Ms Patience Tumwebaze who uses a slogan “endagano yamazima” told www.mknewslinkcom managing editor on phone that she has decided to contest as independent not because she is not an NRM member but because of the confusion.
She added that she is contesting because she wants to create income generating activities for women and youths in Kazo to overcome poverty.
Ms Tumwebaze said that she is contesting to ensure that health facilities are up to the standard and people are able to get treatment.
She noted that once elected, road network will be worked on up to the standard so that farmers are able to take their products to the market easily.
She added that she also wants to support agriculture to ensure that livestock and crops have market.
Ms Patience Tumwebaze has been a businesswoman in Kampala dealing in produces in South Sudan, Kampala and other areas.
She hails from Kyenshebashebe Village, Kyenshebashebe parish Kazo sub county Kazo district.
Kazo became a district on 1st July 2020 and it was curved out of Kiruhura district.
