PERMANENT SECRETARY BIGIRIMANA ROBBED IN FORT PORTAL

Police in Fort portal are investigating circumstances under which the permanent secretary for gender, labor and social development Pius Bigirimana was robbed of his property worth 8 million shillings
According to Lydia Tumushabe the Rwenzori west police spokes person, on 29thDec 2018 while in Bwera LC1, Bukwali parish East division fort portal municipality Kabarole district, unknown people broke into the house where Bigirimana was residing and ran away his properties worth 8M shillings.
Tumushabe said that the thieves ran away with two Ipads one for NSSF and a personal Ipad, africell simcard,official documents among others.
Bigirimana had come for a memorial service for his father in law in Bukwali .
Tumushabe has disclosed that an SD reference 38/29/12/2018 has been filed at Fort Portal police and that if found they will be charged of burglary and theft.
