PETITION ON MY QUALIFICATIONS BY PHILLIP AND ZEDDY IS TRASH—MS ANNET KATUSIIME MUGISHA

Two Bushenyi voters Phillip Murwani and Zeddy Gakyalo yesterday petitioned NRM electoral commission challenging qualifications of Annet Mugisha Katusiime Wife to the managing director NWSC Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha.

Annet Mugisha Katusime is contesting for NRM flag on woman MP seat for Bushenyi district.

The academic qualifications of Annet Katusiime Mugisha have been a topical discussion among her opponent to the extent that Tycoon Hassan Bassajabalaba goes to all campaign rallies with her photocopied transcript to distribute to voters that she failed O’level with F9s.

Zeddy Gakyalo and Phillip Murwani through their lawyers; Mukibi and Kyeyune advocates are challenging discrepancies in her academic names; that she is somewhere Annet Musoga, Annet Mugisha and claim that she has more than one national identity card.

When www.mknewslink.com contacted Ms Annet Mugisha Katusiime on phone today morning, she noted that all the allegations in Murwani and Gakyalo petition are completely trash.

Katusiime noted that her papers are genuine and admitted that she changed her names from Annet Musoga to Annet Katusiime Mugisha within the law. 

She added that her lawyers are preparing a defence to answer all the issues raised in the petition.

Annet Katusime Mugisha is contesting against the incumbent and strong Minister Mary Karooro Okurut who has been Bushenyi woman MP since 2004.

Voting is scheduled for 4^th Sept.2020 at every LCI and by lining behind candidates.
