PIT LATRINE COVERAGE IN IBANDA AT 80%- REPORT

Report released yesterday in Ibanda district states that sanitation is improving as pit latrine coverage reach 80% in the district.
Ibanda district health officer Dr. Juluis Bamwine said health is improving in the region due to people adherence of the government directive that every household should have atleast a pit latrine.
The report shows that water and sanitation have since improved in many sub counties of Ibanda district which has enabled construction of pit latrines in the area.
