POLICE ARREST MAN WHO BIT OFF CUSTOMER’S EAR IN MASINDI

MASINDI:

Police in Masindi have finally arrested a man who bit off customers left ear over a debt of 200 shillings only.

Julius Allan Hakiza, Albertine region police spokesperson has identified the suspect as David Katugume 28, a resident of Kibaali Village Mirya Sub County in Masindi district.

The police spokesperson says that the suspect who was on the run has been arrested and is detained at Masindi Central Police Station and will face charges of grievous harm.

According to Hakiza, the victim identified as David Muhumuza 17, a resident of the same area on 24th July 2022 went to watch a movie at Katugume’s video hall.

‘’The duo developed a misunderstanding on 1st August this year, Katugume bit off Muhumuza’s left ear, and we rushed to Kitara Medical Centre for treatment,’’ he explained.
