POLICE ARREST TWO MEN FOR MURDERING 23 YEAR OLD MAN IN RUKUNGIRI

In Rukungiri—

Police in Rukungiri are holding two suspects for allegedly murdering a 23 year old man.

The deceased is Jordan Nuwahereza a brick maker and resident of Nyamicucu cell Ihunga parish Nyarushanje, Rukungiri district and it’s alleged that he was involved in land wrangles.

The suspects were identified as Kamugisha John alias Harabu himself and Turyabe Boaz.

It’s alleged that the deceased had land wrangles with Turyabe while Kamugisha had previously threatened him accusing him of breaking into his house and stealing his property.

According to the kigezi regional police spokesperson, Elly Matte, on the 12/6/2020, the deceased went missing from home until he was found dead in his house on 18/6/2020  with multiple cuts  all over his body.

Matte adds that the matter was reported to Police and the crime scene was visited.

Postmortem was done and the case was registered at Rukungiri main police station.
