POLICE CONFISCATE NUP PARTY MATERIALS IN MBARARA AHEAD OF THEIR MANIFESTO LAUNCH

In Mbarara—

Police in Mbarara city has today morning confiscated items belonging to the NUP party supporters as their presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi sentamu is expected to deliver NUP party Manifesto at Kakyeka stadium at exactly 11:00Am 

Speaking to some of the aggrieved NUP party Supporters they said that items including Umbrellas, T-shirts, Caps and other materials were taken from them by security operatives as they carried out their patrols around Mbarara city.

Efforts to get a comment from the Rwizi police mouthpiece Samson Kasasira were futile since he denied picking our frequent calls.

Meanwhile, Police and the army have mounted road blocks all over Mbarara city as a way of trying to combat any suspected chaos by NUP party supporters.
