KABALE POLICE INVESTIGATE DEATH OF MALE JUVENILE.

Residents in Kabale are shocked by circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male juvenile about 15 years old, who was found unconscious and died on the way to hospital for treatment.

According to the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson ASP Elly Maate, said that today morning 19/12/2022 information was received at Rubaya police station, that there was a male juvenile found lying besides the road near a farm located at Katwaro village, Ryakarimira town council in Kabale district.

Maate revealed that the police from Rubaya rushed to the scene and tried to rush the victim to Rubaya health center lV where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

ASP Maate while speaking with our reporter, he requested the locals who are missing their dear ones to visit the hospital mortuary so that the body is identified and taken for a decent burial and whoever may be having clues pertaining his death, should volunteer it in order to bring suspects into books.

The body of the deceased has been conveyed to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.

The case of suspected murder was registered at Kabale Central Police station under reference number CRB 927/2022.
