POLICE RETRIEVE DECOMPOSING BODY OF MAN FROM PIT LATRINE IN NTUNGAMO

Police in Ntungamo district yesterday retrieved from a pit latrine a body of a 40-year-old man.

The deceased Eldad Turyahebwa was a resident of Murambi cell, Ibare ward, Rwamabondo Town council Ntungamo district.

According to Samson Kasasira the Rwizi Police spokesperson Police were notified by residents, retrieved the body and Atuhaire Rose the wife to the deceased identified it as that of her husband Turyahebwa Eldad alias Kakuru

Kasasira noted that the deceased was rescued from an angry mob two weeks back after he disagreed with his wife and he was rushed to Rwashamire police station for safe custody.

Sources say that the deceased was last seen at his home on 1^st September,2020 though his wife never reported to the authorities.

Post-mortem conducted on the decomposing body of Turyahebwa as investigations into the matter continue.
