POLICE WORRIED OVER ESCALATED MOB JUSTICE CASES IN KABAROLE

Police in Kabarole has shown great worries on the increased mob justice cases in the district.
Kabarole Inspector of Police Mugisa Solomon Akiiki says at least every day there is one case of mob justices reported at their Liasons office..
He cited three recent cases of Mob justices; In Rwengaju, a suspected motorcycle thief was lynched and his body set on blaze.
One Monday night unknown people injured one Tibasaga Resty 65 accusing her of which craft and Kabege Ruta Resty whose house was set on fire on the same witchcraft accusations in Kyanduru, Mugusu sub county.
Resty is currently admitted at Buhinga hospital Mugisa disclosed that police has arrested one person suspected to have incited the public as they still investigate the matter.
However, Mugisa Solomon urged the public to avoid taking laws in their hands thus encouraging them to always report cases to police.
