This was in the president’s message read for him by the chief whip Thomas Tayebwa at the burial of Gordon Arinda Cowboy in Kyeizooba Igara East Bushenyi district.
Cowboy was the Member of Parliament for Bushenyi- Ishaka municipality in the 10th parliament but lost elections to Derrick Kabuura.
Hungy Arinda the eldest son told mourners that his father loved education and development pledging to keep his father’s name high and sound.
Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni of West Ankole diocese led the prayers and prayed for God’s guidance upon Cowboy’s children so that they can become important people like their father.
Over 40 MPs and former MPS attended the burial. However, residents were wondering why Mbwatekamwa Gaffa was nowhere to be seen at the burial of his colleague.
