Political leaders in Rwampara district have been called upon to embrace reconciliation with their opponents as they assume new offices.
The call was made by the presidential advisor on political matters Nathan Karema who officiated the swearing in and handover for the new leaders at Rwampara district headquarters yesterday.
Karema urged them to avoid conflicts that will block development in their area.
The RDC Rwampara Emmy Kateera Turyabagyenyi speaking on the same function noted the area still faces a lot of challenges tasking the new leadership to be part of the solution.
In his remarks the chairperson Rwampara Richard Owomugasho promised team work between technical staff and political leaders.
