PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE KATUMBA PLEDGES TO REDUCE NUMBER OF MPS

Presidential aspirant John Katumba has pledged to reduce the number of MPs once he is voted into power.
Katumba said this addressing his supporters at the garage street in Kabale district.
Katumba expressed concern over the increased number of MPs in Uganda which he has continued weakening the country’s economy.
Katumba therefore asked people to vote him in the next presidential elections saying that he will make sure that the number of MPs is reduced so that they salaries can be channeled to help the elderly in addition to the little the 25000sh they get now.
Katumba further said that he believes and is very confident that victory belongs to him because the majority has already pledged to vote him.
Mr. Kevin Kacaakuzi a youth and a resident of Mwanjari ward southern division Kabale municipality Kabale district says that he believes that despite Katumba being a youth, he has good ideas and a well laid manifesto and therefore if given power can transform the country.
