Presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu who doubles as National Unity Platform flag bearer has promised to bring back the glory of the supreme law of Uganda by reinstating presidential term limits and make the article one of the constitution articles that must not be changed.
Speaking during a radio talk show at one of the media houses in Fort Portal on Monday evening, Kyagulanyi noted that those who drafted the 1995 constitution left gaps.
Kyagulanyi added that the opportunists used the gaps to extend their rule but promised that when voted, he will make sure that he revises the constitution in favor of majority Ugandans.
A seemingly determined Kyagulanyi condemned President Museveni for using COVID 19 relief for his campaigns, noting that all the vehicles which were given to the government as Covid-19 relief have ever since been channeled to perform NRM duties while the money and food were also mishandled to favor the advantaged in government.
He thus blamed the government of hypocrisy, corruption, greed and being intolerable to its citizens saying that it has done the needful to make Ugandans poor to rule them for centuries.
Angry Bobi wine warned Museveni on Sectarian politics, noting that the president uses tribalism as a hate campaign to paint a bad image on him.
He promised to improve infrastructure by tarmacking roads that extend to the tea estates in the Ruwenzori region, the road that goes to Mountains of the moon university and to enroll all lecturers at the university on government payroll.
