PRESIDENTIAL PROJECT ON BANANA RECEIVES ONLY ONE BILLION IN TWO QUARTERS

The Executive director of Presidential Initiative on Banana Development (PIBID) Prof. Florence Muranga has revealed that the organization has spent two quarters without receiving the required amount of money.
She noted that they have received One billion in this financial year.
Muranga said that the officials at the ministry of finance are the ones who have refused to release money to the organization.
She said this last evening during a prayer service held at the factory in Nyaruzinga Bushenyi district.
She said that she will not bend to pressure by ministry of finance officials adding that she will continue engaging stakeholders since the ministry of science and technology supports her.
