In Bushenyi—
The former senior minister in NRM’s government; Prof.Tarsis Kabwegyere has warned Bushenyi district chairman; Jafari Basajjabalaba to leave the district service commission do it’s work for the good of Bushenyi and Uganda at large.
In an exclusive interview Monday 31 July, 2017 with the www.mknewslink.com editor who found him at his Kanyamabona fish farm in Ishaka,Bushenyi district,Kabwegyere no matter who nominated the district service commission but all in all it will serve the people of Bushenyi and Uganda at large. “Will a dog grow horns if the commission stays?”Kabwegyere asked.
Jafari Basajjabalaba made several trials to disband the district service commission which was nominated by Willis Bashasha; but failed in each case.
The embattled district service commission is chaired by Ms Lydia Rwakishaya who is assisted by Julius Ishungisa and Nathan Behangana.
Basajjabalaba is entitled to nominate only two names of people who will join the service commission.
However, during the last district council meeting, the councilors said they don’t support the Rwakishaya commission, arguing that it was not nominated through correct procedures.
During the same council meeting, the councilors also resolved that the district Chief Administrative officer Elias Byamungu be transferred from the district.
They accuse Byamungu of defying the district council resolutions.
