PUPIL ELECTROCUTED TO DEATH AT RWAKASHOMA P/S IN BUSHENYI

Shock and grief have today engulfed pupils, parents and teachers of Rwakashoma Primary School in Rushoroza cell Kizinda kigoma town council Bushenyi district after one of their pupils was electrocuted to death.
According to Godfrey Nuwagaba a teacher, pupils were helping to raise tents when one of the metallic poles touched a live electric wire and 12 were electrocuted.
Nuwagaba told www.mknewslink.com that the three who included Ronald Byamukama P7, Arnold Ariho P6, and Arnold Taremwa P7 were rushed to Kampala International University teaching hospital where Byamukama was pronounced dead while the two are recovering.
Other casualties who were just shocked are Collins Asiimwe, Vitus Tumusiime, Wellen Turyasingura, Davis Tumuramye, Osward Mwijukye, Chrispus Agaba, Arnold Kiiza, Lodwin Ndyamuhaki and Crined Tumuhimbise.
Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson confirmed the incident adding that three of the workers who had come with the tents are also under treatment at KIU.
The police PRO noted that the body of Byamukama is at KIU mortuary and no arrest has been made in connection to the matter.
David Rweyama a parent at the school blamed the owner of the tents for being careless and involving children in his job instead of bringing enough workers.
