IN FORT PORTAL———-
Kabarole deputy resident district commission Denis Nzeirwe asked residents in the region stop child labour which has increased school dropout.
He advised residents to report whoever overrides children rights in the country to police which is rampant in the district.
In an interview with mknewslink Mr. Denis explained that people have taken advantage of children’s lack of capacity to negotiate and employed them in their tea plantations, stone quarrying projects which deny them a chance to go to school.
Mr. Denis asked district local council leaders to do the supervisory role in their different localities to save children from child labour which is one way of a busing their rights.
