RDC NANDINDA ON FIRE FOR FAILING TO HOLD COVID 19 WEEKLY MEETINGS

Kabale Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Darius Nandinda is under fire for failing to hold weekly meetings on Corona Virus.
According to the Kabale district Task Force on Corona Virus, the team last had a meeting about a month ago yet they are supposed to hold weekly meetings to review the district status of COVID 19 pandemic and discuss strategies aimed at fighting the spread of the virus.
RDC Darius Nandinda who is the Chairperson of the Task Force is reportedly in Kampala for his personal program
Locals who demanded answers stressed that they if Corona spreads in the district, they are the ones to lose not RDC since according to them he is always not around.
Kabale borders Gicumbi district of Rwanda near Katuna where many cases of Corona Virus have been confirmed.
The RDC has also been accused of harassing and suffocating the media and journalists who try to question and criticize his work methods.
A number of journalists in Kabale have either lost their jobs or arrested by police on orders of Nandinda.
Efforts to reach him for a comment were futile by press time.
