RDC ORDERS FOR CLOSURE OF ALLIANCE IN MOTION GLOBAL OFFICES, IBANDA

Ibanda District security committee yesterday ordered for the closure of
Alliance in Motion Global offices with immediate effect.
The company which has been operating in Ibanda District for over three years has left over 400 workers jobless.
In November last year, the former Resident District Commissioner
Eliasto Akatuheebwa closed the same company for a week following a number of complaints from the public, but they were later allowed to operate having harmonized with security.
The Alliance in Motion Global Company has been operating their businesses at NBK Star in Ibanda municipality.
Several youths from the districts of Fort Portal, Kasese, Kisoro and Kabale have been employed by the Alliance in Motion Global having promised them to get green envelops.
It is alleged that many parents have sold their animals, coffee, even land to help their children join the company.
Following a number of complaints from the public about the same
company, the Resident District commissioner and the head of security
in Ibanda District Mary Bashongoka Kamaduuka has directed the Alliance in Motion Global to close its offices immediately before any other action.
On the same matter the Ibanda District Police Commander Emily Angomoku has also warned parents who send their children to companies with unstreamlined profile as a number of young boys and girls are stranded with in Ibanda while others have resorted to prostitution.
