Sheema district Chairman Canon David Kabigumira has back fired Rev Fr.Vincent Mucunguzi the Mushanga Catholic parish priest who on Sunday 24th February 2019 accused him for promoting religious differences in Sheema district.
Kabigumira said that Mucunguzi is the worst shepherd (priest) he has ever seen because he has done contrary to what he is supposed to do.

Kabigumira said that Fr Mucunguzi has become a source of insecurity in Sheema district noting that he won’t allow him to continue bringing conflicts.
Fr. Mucunguzi Vincent on Sunday amidst a Holy mass said that Hon Jacklet Atuhaire woman MP Sheema district, Kabigumira David Chairman LC V and Hon minister Dr Elioda Tumwesigye MP Sheema municipality used stupid and silly language in 2016 election campaigns which he said promoted religious differences in Sheema district, favouring Protestants against Catholics.
Kabigumira refuted all the allegations saying that instead Rev Fr Mucunguzi is the one who has greatly promoted religious differences by holding some meetings against non Catholics.

He added that he, Hon Jacklet and Minister Elioda nolonger give speeches on Catholic burials giving an example of a burial of Hon Raymond Kamugisha’s father where the former Sheema district woman MP Hon Nyakikongoro Rosemary was the MC of the day andshe with Fr Mucunguzi refused the three leaders to give a speech.
Hon Atuhaire Jacklet Rwabukurukuru who was present at the holy mass said that she puts each and everything to God adding that she has no reply for Fr Mucunguzi.
However she later wrote on her social media that “we have always coexisted and loved each other, so no amount of name calling and intimidation from a priest will stop me from going to these worship places. As leaders we should preach reconciliation not calling people silly and stupid, this will not solve the problem if there is any. So does inciting Christians to punish their leaders by not voting them 2021 openly tantamount to a call for forgiveness?”
