REV. DR. KABUSHENGA FORCED BY POLICE TO KNEEL OVER TRESPASS
By Ambrose Kweronda
In Kanungu—
The war at Great Lakes Regional University between directors seem not to end now as Bishop Hamlet Kabushenga has been forced by police to kneel down as he tried to access Kirima Parents primary school.
Kirima parents’ primary School is one of schools which Kabushenga claims to have started during his time in parliament.
On 2nd April 2022 holding machetes, stones and sticks Kabushenga decided to put away with his respect and fight for his properties. However things didn’t go well as he found a team already waiting for him, he was forced to kneel down as side watchers inscribed film.
Bishop Hamlet Kabushenga claims that he started Great Lakes University in 2004 but was fraudently taken over by new directors Honest Natukwasa Wilkins and Eleanor Nyamishana who used to work at this university.
He accuses the new directors to be the agents of homosexuals in Kanungu and is wooing for the community to stand in there and stop homosexuality.
Natukwasa Honest Wilkins was university executive secretary while Eleanor Nyamishana was the university bursar.
Nyamishana worked with Kabushenga since 2004 and one would wonder why she could turn against her master.
Kabushenga says he wanted to cede from directorship of Great Lakes University to focus on developing Maya university little did he know that those whom he trusted would turn against him.
Recently the Archbishop of Uganda Dr. Steven Kazimba visited this university and there are some sources that this university is shifting its inclination from free Methodist to the church of Uganda.
Kabushenga was formally a reverend in church of Uganda but he is not in good terms with Kinkiizi diocese which seems to be in lime right to take this university as community institution.
Kabushenga protested the visit of Kazimba and has continued crying foil that he rather dies than losing the University that he started single handedly.
The directors of the university had applied for a court injunction against Dr. Hamlet Mbabazi Kabushenga to stop him from trespassing in the facility.
The ownership conflict between the Directors of Great Lakes Regional University and the founder Dr. Kabushenga prompted National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) to temporarily close the institution at Bushura in Kanungu District for a month with hope to iron out the differences.
The High Court presided over by Justice Karemani Johnson, December 8th 2021 instituted an immediate court injunction against Rev Dr. Mbabazi Hamlet Kabushenga, his wife Esther Kellen Kabushenga , all their servants and associates from trespassing and occupying the facility in the name of a university they resigned as directors.
It is alleged that Dr. Hamlet Kabushenga is wanted for international financial crimes ranging from corruption, obtaining money by false pretense and fraud.
