REV. ESCAPES FROM BUSHENYI COURT CELLS, BAILIFFS VIGOROUSLY HUNTING FOR HIM

Court bailiffs in Bushenyi are hunting for Rev. Steven Namanya for escaping from chief magistrates court cells after being committed for 6 months in prison for failing to pay a loan of 1.9 million.
Grade I magistrate at Bushenyi court Mr. Asanasio Mukobe yesterday committed Rev. Namanya to Bushenyi prison for allegedly failing to pay a loan that he took from Evans Kahwite of Ishaka town Bushenyi district.
According to the court file, Rev. Namanya hails from Rugarama Rushenyi county Ntungamo district and serves in South Ankole diocese.
Eye witnesses at Bushenyi court, say that the reverend was committed to prison (Nyamushekyerera) for 6 months and as the relatives were trying to raise money, the reverend walked gently with his church collar through the gates of court and disappeared.
Atwiine Ronald the court bailiff has mounted a hunt of the reverend to be taken to prison as court had ruled.
