In Rwampara—
Candidates who lost in the concluded elections have been warned against citing violence among Ugandans and wasting time in court instead of sharing ideas with the winner for the development of their communities.
The warning was sounded by Parish priest for Rwenyaga Parish Rev. Fr. Vincent Tumwebaze aka Kaboyi during the winners’ thanksgiving mass at Rwenyaga Parish in Rwampara district yesterday.
Rev. Fr. Kaboyi also requested elected leaders to cooperate with candidates who lost the elections and fulfill the promises they made during their campaigns.
He expressed concern over how politicians pledge a lot during their campaigns only to disappoint their electorates with empty promises after elections.
Fr. Vicent Kaboyi is a common catholic gospel singer and he mostly engages the youths in his songs under their group Youth Friends of Jesus.
Some of his songs are; I will never fight, Be by my side Maama Maria, Iam strong among others.
