RUBANDA ANGRY RESIDENTS ORDER MAN TO PAY UGX 500,000 FOR NEGLECTING SON’S DEAD BODY

Angry residents in Karambo village Ikamiro parish in Muko subcounty Rubanda district have fined a 40 year old man for rejecting a dead body of one of his illegitimate children.

The residents ordered Evaristo Tumwesigye to pay 500,000 shillings after he neglected his child’s body.

Sources told www.mknewslink.com that having learnt that one of his two illegitimate children had died, Tumwesigye escaped to Muko forest reserve for the fear of his wife.

Alexander Tumuhereze, the area LC1 said that Tumwesigye’s actions angered residents who picked the body and buried it at the father’s home in his absence.

He further said that after the burial, Tumwesigye came out from his hiding place and residents decided to fine him five hundred thousand Uganda shillings for causing commotion by disowning his child.
