RUBANDA WOMAN HANGS HERSELF ON CHRISTMAS DAY

 Police in Rubanda are investigating circumstances under which a 49 year old woman ended up in a rope in her bedroom

 Kigezi Regional police spokesperson identified the deceased as  Tumuhimbise Stella Maris a resident of Nyakahita village Kacenaga parish Nyamweru subcounty in Rubanda district.

 It’s alleged that the deceased who occasionally suffered from a mental illness hanged herself yesterday 25th December 2021 after a church service.

 Maate said that when the husband came back home at around 2100hrs, he found the deceased hanged in the bedroom with a cloth tied to the roof timber. 

 Police visited the scene on Saturday, drew a sketch map, took photos, and recorded statements.

 Post mortem was done at the scene while no arrests were made.
