RUKIGA MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULTING FELLOW TO DEATH

Police in Rukiga district have in detention a man alleged to have assaulted to death a 58 year old fellow.
It is alleged that on 21st May 2020 the suspect Gracious Tayebwa 21years a resident of Kamuhungu cell,Kitanga parish,Rwamucucu sub county,Rukiga district assaulted Benny Twinomuhangi 58 years of the same area.
According to Kigezi region police spokespersonEllyMaate ,Twinomuhangi was later found dead at Kamutumba Primary School on the 22/05/2020.
He said that Police was informed and they visited the scene then arrested Tayebwa for interrogation.
The body was taken to Kabale regional referral hospital for post mortem as inquiries continue.
