RUKIGA MAN DIES IN MORTOCYCLE ACCIDENT

Police in Kabale district is investigating circumstances under which a 20 year old man died in a single motorcycle accident.

The deceased has been identified as Aine Tumusiime, a resident of Kyogo parish Kamwezi Sub County in Rukiga District who has been vending bread for one Denis Adam; a resident of Nyanja Parish in Maziba sub county , Kabale district.

It is alleged that Sunday morning of 20th August 2017 the deceased was found dead at Nyamwirwa along Kabanyonyi- Maziba road where his motorcycle Bajaj boxer reg. number UEG750F was found lying on top of him suspecting him to have lost control after suspecting to have hit a rock at unknown time of last night.

The Kigezi Regional police spokesperson; Elly Maate has confirmed the incident, adding that police was notified and made postmortem at the scene and handed the body to the relatives.

He however, cautions drivers to always be careful while using the road, make sure that their vehicles are in good mechanical condition, and avoid driving late hours, arguing that deceased could have been helped by people if it were during the day.
