RUKUNGIRI MAN STABS GRANDFATHER TO DEATH OVER UNPAID WAGES

Police in Rukungiri are hunting for a 30-year-old man for allegedly stabbing to death his 74-year-old grandfather.
Elly Maate the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman identified the deceased as Bernard Barugahare, a resident of Kanyankyende village in Bugangari Sub County.
Maate says, that on 17th April this year at around 9Pm, the deceased was attacked by his grandson one Kamwesigye Jackson alias Boy.
The suspect was reportedly demanding his grandfather for his wages after he worked for his him as a casual worker.
Maate says Kamwesigye grabbed his grandfather outside the house and stabbed him in the neck to death in the presence of the latter’s wife one Tugumisirize Edisa, 73.
Edisa tried to make an alarm which attracted the neighbours but they arrived too late.
Maate says police visited the scene and recovered a knife, and the body was taken Rwakabengo healthy center III mortuary for post-mortem.
