RUKUNGIRI MARKET SECRETARY POISONS HIMSELF

Police in Rukungiri district are investigating circumstance under
which a secretary for Rukungiri central market poisoned himself on
Wednesday 14.march 2018.
The deceased identified as Ivan Turinawe aged 52 year, a resident of
Katerera, southern division in Rukungiri municipality Rukungiri
district.
Ivan Turinawe has been operating in Rukungiri central market for over
eight years at lockup number RTC/MS51.
According to credible source that preferred anonymity due to sensitivity of the matter, Turinawe wanted to sell his land but his
family members rejected his proposal; a reason prompted him to poison himself.
The deceased was rushed to Nyakibale hospital where he was pronounced dead yesterday 14.march 20018 in the afternoon.
The Rukungiri DPC SSP Moses Nanoka confirmed the incident and said
that as police they have embarked on the investigations into the
matter.
“We are not yet done with our investigations but i promise to unveil
