RUKUNGIRI POLICE RECOVER 7 BAGS OF MAIZE FLOUR STOLEN FROM DISTRICT STORES

Police in Rukungiri district have recovered 7 bags of maize flour believed to part the food that was allegedly stolen by the call center attendants.
Police reported that up to 170 bags of maize flour were stolen from the district stores by the cell center attendants on a pick up registration number UBB 657F belonging to David Kansiime Rushesha without the knowledge of the district corona virus task force committee and some was sold to the public.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi regional Police Spokesperson identified the suspects as Isaac Nuwamanya Kaharuza and Robert Tukamuhebwa both working with district corona virus taskforce as call center attendants.
Maate told our reporter that they recovered the 7 bags of maize flour from the stores of Kakamba after conducting a serious search across all stores in Rukungiri central market.
