RUKUNGIRI TAXI OPERATORS FIGHT OVER MUSEVENI CASH.

Members of Rukungiri Transporters Cooperative Society at Nabugabo
stage in Rukungiri municipality have today morning engaged in fight
over the money that was donated to the by the president of republic of
Uganda president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The fight evolved after some members wanted the money to be shared a decision was downplayed by association leadership who called the police to intervene.
Mr. Kajungu, the chairperson of the association, revealed that he survived being beaten by angry members who were in support of sharing cash.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday donated twenty million
shilling to Rukungiri Transporters Cooperative Society as donation for poverty eradication.
The DPC Rukungiri district Moses Nanoka advised the association leadership to bank the money at the association’s account as measure of calming down the situation.
Rwports learnt that police in Rukungiri have so far registered other similar cases from different groups concerning the Museveni money.
