RUKUNGIRI WATER STRESSED VILLAGES GET RELIEF

Residents of Kyehunde, Muyanje, Kanyabishambwe among other villages in Bwambara sub-county are overjoyed after Kyehunde Child Development center in cooperation with Kyehunde Full Gospel Church and Compassion international constructed a 220 million water project which will provide residents with safe clean water for domestic use.
Merab Twasiima, Tom Arineitwe, and Generous Tukamuhabwe, both residents who have benefited from this project say they have been facing a challenge in accessing clean water
This water project will benefit over 40,000 people in eight villages of Muyanje, Kanyabisambwe, Kagoro, Kyehunde, Kayaga cell, and Bwambara trading center among other areas.
While speaking at the Commissioning, Geofrey Kyomukama the Rukungiri district chairperson urged residents to use this water project appropriately and make good use of it
Businessman Ambrose Kibuuka who was the chief guest at the function lauded Kyehunde cdc in partnership with compassion for extending water to the people of Bwambara irrespective of their religious or political affiliations
Victor Bashaija the Kyehunde cdc Program Director revealed that the commissioned water project will alleviate water scarcity in the area and improve standards of living.
