order to have the money recovered.
“We arrested some of the leaders of groups last time such as
Rwabuteeka youth goat rearing, Rwempitsi youth piggery project,
Kagarama B youth goat project in eastern division among others and
they recovered some so arresting members again it will help us”.
Ambrose said.
Most of the youth who have failed to refund the money are in the three
divisions of Rukungiri Municipality, Eastern, Western, and Southern
decisions.
The RDC Rukungiri Mr. Martin Mugabe said many youth have failed to
refund the money because they diverted it to organizing weddings and
purchasing home appliances while others used it to process documents
to go and work overseas.
The RDC adds that the negligent of parents to their children have also
hindered the program to workout.
“Most of the parents don’t mind about what their children are doing
even advising them, monitoring of their project hence ending up of
youth using of the money given to them for their luxury”. He said.
