RWIZI REGION: 5 MURDERS REGISTERED, 12 KILLED IN ACCIDENTS, 14 SURVIVE WITH INJURES

5 Murder cases have been registered during Christmas festivities in the eight Districts that make up Rwizi region from 20th.-25th.Dec.2021

According to Rwizi police mouthpiece ASP Samson Kasasira, the murder cases resulted from assault, mob justice, aggravated robbery, and shooting case that went down in Ntungamo District where a security guard gunned down a thief who tried to steal from a shop.

Kasasira said that 12 lives were lost in 10 fatal accidents, 14 survived with injures in 12 serious accidents while 4 minor accidents were registered.

The police mouthpiece further called upon the public to shy away from the act of Mob justice instead they should always let police to intervene.
