Sanyu FM (88.2) staff led by comedian Patrick Idringi Salvado yesterday morning, surprised DPC Kampala Central Police Station (CPS) ASP Ronald Wotwali with a historic birth day cake which sent him to extended ecstasy.
The new born ASP Ronald Wotwali who was found busy serving the nation in his office at CPS was surprised for the celebration which he didn’t expect though he knew that today was when he landed on the universe.
As a norm for the new born baby, Sanyu FM staff showered DPC with water and decorated his face with juicy looking cake leaving him worried of where to pass going home with a special mode of looking.
Later on, DPC Wotwali served the cake to Sanyu Fm staff and after stepped out of his office to share with his co-workers at the station.
Comedian Salvador who led the staff to CPS, joined the station few months ago, presenting the breakfast show amidst new changes that took place.
Sanyu FM is well known as the pioneer private FM radio station in Uganda, that has been in existence for over 20 years.
It switched on air on 18, 1993, and for the first time, Ugandans could listen to music almost the whole day away from the government-run Radio Uganda, which had only about 20% of its programs dedicated to music, and the rest on ‘developmental’ programs.
We wish you a happy belated birthday Afande Wotwali.
