SCARCITY OF MONEY: MAN IMPERSONATES REV. FR., PUTS ON COLLAR TO STEAL FROM PUBLIC

Police in Kisoro district are holding a 37year old man for claiming to be a reverend father.
The imposter has been identified as Ndyanabo Emmanuel Lambert resident of Bikora village, Gasiza ward, Kisoro municipality.
It is alleged that imposter has been holding church services at Kisoro primary teachers college, Kisoro demonstration primary school and visiting catholic families in Kisoro municipality offering prayers and spiritual deliverances.
Elly Maate the Kigezi region Police spokesperson revealed that the case was reported on 12/2020 by concerned Rev. Fr. Ignatius Arinaitwe aged 41 yrs,a priest at St Peter’s Kisoro catholic church.
Maate told www.mknewslink.com that the reverend father imposter was found in possession of Movit Jerry which he uses as olive oil to anoint Christians.
He confirmed the arrest of Ndyanabo in full attire of priests on 12/12/2020 at around 0800hrs Kisoro Catholic Church.
Investigations have commenced and the case file number is SD 38/11/12/2020.
