SCHOOL HEADS ASKED TO PLANT TREES IN COMPOUNDS TO CONSERVE ENVIRONMENT

Heads of schools in Sheema have been asked to plant trees in their schools compounds in order to conserve the environment.
This was by Kateshuubwa John the public relations officer Kabwohe rotary club while delivering trees on Friday 7th December 2018 at Busesire primary school in Kabwohe division Sheema municipality.
He asked pupils and parents to transform that knowledge of planting trees to their homes adding that as rotary club they are ready to give trees especially fruits to them at a free cost.
David Nuwagaba kahindi a member of rotary club said its their usual habit of helping the needy like people with disabilities plus fighting disasters like diseases, drought among others.
Namanya Perezi head teacher Busesire primary school said that trees in school compounds help pupils and students to feel relaxed while revising plus beautifying the school compound
Each primary seven candidate of the school after their last paper alongside their parents planted a tree; yesterday they added 200 trees of different species likemangoes, oranges, pines and others
