SCORES INJURED IN RUKUNGIRI BUS ACCIDENT

A bus has today morning overturned in Rukungiri town leaving scores injured.

The bus registration number UAZ 321W belonging to Highway failed to ascend the Kinyasano road slope to Rukungiri town at around 09:00am this morning.

The bus was coming from Bwindi, Kanungu heading to Kampala.

The injured have been rushed to Kalori Lwanga Hospital in Eastern Division for medical treatment.

The Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson Elly Maate confirmed the incidence as inquiries go on.

By press time, no one had been reported dead amongst the causalities.
