SECURITY GUARD BEATS MAN INTO COMA AT TOTAL PETROL STATION IN KISORO

A resident in Kisoro is fighting for his life following an assault by a security guard at Total petrol station.

One Sedume a resident of Busoro village, Muganza Parish Chahi sub county Kisoro district was yesterday beaten up by Allan a security guard attached to SGA.

According to an eyewitness, Sedume was negotiating with a boda boda cyclist at Total petrol station in Kisoro municipality when Allan started beating him with a baton which left him in coma.

The witness told www.mknewslink.com that Allan rushed into toilets to hide after realizing that an angry mob wanted to lynch him until police intervene with bullets.

Kisoro police OC Ogwanga said that Sedume is still in coma at Kisoro hospital where he was rushed by the Ambulance while Allan a security guard was taken to Kisoro police for interrogation.

The area LCI chairman Charles Sezibera accused Total petrol station of employing unarmed security guards which has put station’s properties at high risk of theft.

Residents of Busamba intimated to www.mknewslink.com that security guards at total petrol station mistreat them adding that they had killed one of their fellows.
