SHEEMA: 24 YEAR OLD HOUSE HELPER TRIES TO RAPE 88 YEAR OLD WOMAN

Police in Sheema are holding a 24 year old man for raping an 88 year old woman
It is alleged that Innocent Kaijuka a resident of Karugororo, Kashekuro parish in Kitagata sub Sheema district while in Ntungamo II, Rugarama sub County Sheema district raped Elivaida Bwente in the middle of this week .
According to Richard Mugyenyi Elivaidas son, he had brought Kaijuka as a house helper only two days back and that on the third day, he raped his mother.
Mugyenyi said that it was around 10 pm on Monday night when he heard his mum making an alarm but when he reached her home he found the doors and windows closed then he decided to break the door only to find his mother bleeding and crying like a child.
He revealed that when he asked his mother, she told him that Kaijuka wanted to rape her and he bit off her lower lip to stop her from making noise for help.
Mukadde Elivaida told us that she doesn’t know how Kaijuka entered into her bedroom since she had closed it.
Our reporter tried to talk to Kaijuka on the matter but he kept on smiling and couldn’t say out any word, until he knelt down begging not to be put in news saying that he was influenced of alcohol.
Bugongi Sub county GISO Afande Byaruhanga John who arrested Kaijuka told us that him with a help of police, they tracked Kaijuka’s phone and they kept on talking with him until they landed on him when he had reached in Mbarara town escaping to Kampala where he was trying to get another job from.
According to Byaruhanga, he said that he got surprised to see a young energetic boy like Kaijuka raping his grandmother in a surplus of girls who are in Uganda.
Some of the people our reporter talked said that Kaijuka should be castrated like a calf.noting that he deserves only life imprisonment.
