SHEEMA POLICE ARREST MAN FOR KILLING SUSPECTED THIEF

Police in Sheema district are in its custody holding a 24 year old man one Justus Kamukama for killing a person he suspected to be a thief.

The deceased was identified as Alex Byaruhanga aged 23 and the killer Kamukama both residents of Rwibaare III cell, Rwibaare ward Kakyindo town council in Sheema district.

According to Sp Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokes person, the incident happened after the deceased Byaruhanga trespassed in the home of Justus kamukama at midnight intending to steal a TV screen before he was hit with a hoe in the head.

The victim broke the glasses of house and the suspect (Kamukama) hit him in the head with a hoe, noise was made and neighbor came and took the thief to KIU hospital in Bushenyi district where he has breathed his last breath during the wee hours of today morning.

The case has been registered under file number CRR107/2019.
