SHEEMA: POLICE DISCOVER TWO DAYS OLD BABY IN NURSERY BED

Sheema district central police station is stranded with a two days old baby girl who was found in a nursery bed alongside Mbarara – Bushenyi high way.
Afande Ngerese Jane family protection OC Sheema district said that they found the abandoned child in Kagango nursery bed today morning at 6:30 Am as they were coming from night operations.
She noted that as they passed by, they saw something in a white cloth shaking, and DPC SP Birungi Scovia checked it, only to find a baby inside.
According to Ngerese, the baby was too cold since she was only covered with one cloth and that some insects had started eating up her umbilical cord.
However as police investigations continued, they came across one Stephen Agaba who was found near the nursery bed in search of a baby.
According to Ngerese, Agaba narrated that his girl friend a bar maid only identified as Promise from Itendero called him last night to find his baby who was born on Sunday in a nursery bed.
Agaba later escaped from police and no one at this time knows his whereabouts.
Mean while same , police is seeking for the parents and relatives of a nine years old orphan girl identified as Nyakato Ritah from Igambiro Katenga Mitooma district who came to police after she had been mistreated by her boss.
Nyakato who says that her mother is called Maria Sylvia Kyobutungi from katenga Mitooma district, was brought to police by Mr Mugyenyi Dennis director Mellinium primary school Mutojo, reporting that his teacher Ninsiima Immaculate mistreats her.
Mugyenyi said that ninsiima heavily beats, sometimes starves Nyakato plus locking her outside during midnight adding he has tried several times to talk to his teacher but all in vain.
Nyakato revealed that she doesn’t know the salary she was supposed to be paid and that she has spent two months without getting money.
