SHEEMA POLICE HUNT FOR MAN OVER ILLEGAL SUPPLY OF NWSC WATER TO PUBLIC

Police in Sheema are hunting for a man who has been illegal supplying NWSC water to the neighborhood.

The suspect Justus Muganga is a resident of Kibutamo Rushozi ward in Sheema municipality.

According to the acting O/C station Sheema central station Levi Akarivenyuma, they got a tip from NWSC Kabwohe branch that Muganga was illegal digging water passage near the road

Akarivenyuma told www.mknewslink.com  reporter that Muganga took off having realized that police had come for him.

 He added that some of Muganga’s workers were arrested by Police to give their statements, and tools including hoes, water pipes were confiscated.

According to the manager National Water and Sewerage Corporation Kabwohe Ms Christine, Muganga was once their client but he failed to pay the bills and they had to disconnect him from their services.

“When I heard he was digging trenches, I called him to come to my office so that I could explain to him the rules and regulations of supplying water but in vain. That’s why I decided to seek for Police intervention,” Ms Christine added.
