Sheema District RDC Frank Kyerere is in hot soup after some of the NRM aspiring candidates vowed to report him in the president’s office over segregation.
The contestants allege that the RDC has always been campaigning for only selected candidates mostly aspiring ministers yet all members are standing on NRM party ticket something that might cause divisionism in the party.
One of the first 3 top NRM leaders in Sheema District (names withheld on request of anonymity) told www.mknewslink.com that they have already warned the RDC over his acts but in vain thus decided to report him to his bosses sothat he can be summoned in the NRM national disciplinary committee.
“A whole RDC showing his side of politics in NRM primaries, it indicates that he has totally failed his official job and tarnished party’s reputation some thing that may lead to loss of president’s votes,” Kamukama David of Bikwase Kamukama noted.
“At least he should be working tirelessly to convince opposition leaders to join NRM party but mixing himself in politics of enmity is most unfortunate,” Kamukama added.
Kamukama added that president can’t involve himself in dividing his own members as the National chairman of the party thus the RDCshould stop misrepresenting his boss.
However ,RDC Kyerere told www.mknewslink.com that constitutionally, as of today ,nobody has already contested since they haven’t yet been nominated by the party Electoral commission wondering how he could campaign for someone who hasn’t yet contested.
