SHEEMA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR CONNING MEN WITH DEFILEMENT ACCUSATIONS

Police in Sheema have in detention a woman who has been conning men accusing them of defiling her 10 year old daughter.

It is alleged that the suspect Annet Rukundo has been setting up men with her 10 year old daughter and she would then rush to police to report a case of defilement.

Sources say that Rukundo would then tell the man to amicably resolve the case and promised to withdraw the case if the man accepted to pay a certain amount of money.

Sources close to the woman told www.mknewslink.com that Rukundo however failed on her last attempt after the victim a young man insisted on taking the girl to a hospital of his choice and results turned out to be negative.

The victim Andrew Magezi told www.mknewslink.com that he had some small issues with Rukundo who is his land lady but never knew it would go this far.

Magezi denied knowing the girl in question adding that although he has been staying in the mother’s house, he had never noticed the girl.

The OC station Levi Akalivenyima said that they have carried out investigations and it’s alleged that Rukundo has always framed men who ended up in cells though they were innocent.

He added that she will be charged with giving false information to a police officer.

The probation officer for Sheema district Serena Nayebare cautioned parents to always be good examples to their children and stop turning them into wolves because they are showing them a wrong path.
