As the holiday comes to the end, the director of St Agnes Girls’ Secondary School Bushenyi Edgar Manyire has appealed to parents to ensure that their children remain disciplined as they were when they left schools on 20th March 2020.
Mr. Manyire explained that most of the parents are responsible for the indiscipline of their children since they try to favor them, blame teachers instead of sitting them down to advise them.
He also noted that parents should ensure that their children use their (parents) phones carefully because some parents keep pornographic stuff in their phones.
Manyire appealed to the government to put guidelines on how schools will open such as on buying thermometer to check temperature, testing blood of students who are coughing and sneezing.
He stressed that government should emphasize Information Communication Technology because most of the work is done with computer. If ICT was well promoted in the country, children would be being taught in this holiday through teleconferencing whats app, Skype etc
