Students of St. Joseph’s vocational School commonly known as “JOVOC” in Mbarara city have been suspended following a strike at the school.
According to students who talked to www.mknewslink.com , their school was supposed to take part in greater Mbarara secondary schools’ football competitions at Kakyeka stadium yesterday (Saturday) where they were to face Nyamitanga Secondary School in quarter finals.
Students however told www.mknewslink.com that they never played the game over yet to be disclosed motives.
The rowdy students who were holding placards demanded for the resignation of the current head teacher Rev. Fr. Godwin Muhangi as they matched to the office of Arch-Bishop Lambert Bainomugisha.
The students were addressed by their former head teacher Rev.Fr. Severinas Ndugwa the vicar General Mbarara Archdiocese but never listened to him rather demanded for Arch-Bishop’s intervention.
